free automotive chat line for troubleshooting 2001 cavalier?
I'm looking for some ideas and what is wrong with my 2001 cavalier , i put and different computer and wire herness ,check engine light on , try to pull codes with scanner and say link error , car will start but , will not stay running i dies out until you keep the starting Fluid into it .
If it'll run a little bit when you spray starting fluid into it and won't run without it, that means you have a fuel delivery problem. If it's been a long time or you don't know when it was replaced, I would definitely replace your fuel filter. After that, check ALL of your fuses (the fuse box under the driver-side dash and the fuse box under the hood), and replace as needed.
