What tools in a Goodyear Vehicle Service Center Generate enough heat to melt plastic?
My car was damaged while being serviced at a local Goodyear auto Service Center. The Service Manager first acknowledged and apologized saying he would re-order the part and replace it. basically the plastic part of my passenger side mirror is clearly melted/burn marks. He say's he has nothing in the repair shop that generates heat to melt plastic, which I find hard to believe. I was getting my rotor's resurfaced when this all happened. So what tools would your average Goodyear Service Center have that could be responsible for this damage?
I am sure they must have a torch set around to loosen frozen parts etc, maybe even used it on your rotors if they were stuck.
